A3 Curlew Print by Nick Pettit – £5 from sale will go to Curlew Action
Meet Curly. His ‘cur-lee’ call is a recognisable sound of wet grasslands, moorlands, farmland and coasts. With
their long, curved bills, curlews love probing the mud for worms, shellfish and shrimps. The structure of their
bill means they can’t use their tongue to get food into their mouth so curlews have learnt to throw food up in the air and catch it instead – brilliant!
Curly is available as an A5 greeting card, A4 and A3 art prints and a melamine table coaster.
Rock Bird Prints is the shop front for the enchanting bird art of illustrator Nick Pettit. With an eye-catching style inspired by nature and a love of mid-century design, Nick’s birds have unique characters all of their own, made all the more so by the human names he gives them.
